Amy

So, I am telling you about each of my students this session.  Today I want to introduce you to Amy.  She is 36 years old and married.  Amy has two daughters and 2 sons.  Last week my friend and I had an opportunity to

visit Amy in her home.  She lives with her mother-in-law, which is common in this part of the world.  When we got there we found that all of Amy's sister-in-laws were there also.  We sat in a room full of women and children.  Amy had prepared a wonderful table of sweets and snacks for us.  She was so proud to have her teacher visit her.

I always find myself struggling to understand when there is more then one person speaking Arabic.  By the end of the visit I was exhausted, but happy.  We had a great visit and really enjoyed our time with Amy.  Amy is a sweet woman with a big heart.  She is quiet and thoughtful.  She loves her children and is so proud of them. 

Please take a minute today to pray for my sweet student, Amy.  Pray for her family, husband, sons, daughters and parents.  Pray that they will seek after God.  Pray that I will have more opportunities to share with her and that she will her the truth.
